NightRaid is a free open horde mode map designed for MORDHAU, crafted using Unreal Engine 4. This map offers a unique experience as players face waves of enemies in a forested environment, strategically utilizing various defensible areas such as Dawn's Gate and the Hill Fort. The map supports up to 64 players, but it is recommended to have at least 4 players for an optimal experience. Players can find scattered chests and toolboxes throughout the terrain, enhancing their gameplay and strategy.
Since its release in June 2023, NightRaid has garnered attention for its engaging design and gameplay mechanics. The horde spawns are clearly marked near Castle Dread, allowing players to prepare for incoming threats. Future maps are planned, including a modified horde mode with objectives and various themed arenas, promising to expand the gameplay possibilities further.
